If you are launching a local OM (not the demo) for the first time, it will prompt you to create an initial entity. Put in your name or something.

When it asks about a class, you can just press ESC for now.
After entering the name for this entity, press Enter. The full Entity Menu for it will now be displayed.
You probably want to press the menu options 9 then 7, so that when launching OM in the future, that entity will come up as the default.
