How does OM compare to wikis like (the wonderfully helpful) wikipedia?
Knowledge is not words, but includes computable things like mass (a number), origin or owner (a relationship), motion (#s,behavior), etc. I.e., an object model.
OM (like most wikis) lets individuals control their own data, but the vision includes rich structured sharing (there's that object model again) between sites.
