594_ sharing betw systems for replication/backup/demos

• convenience and data consistency between my main om instance and the demo instance: update either one updates the other, but keep only desired mods? or 1-way?
• to what extent should this synchronizing be automated? -- invoke manly or on sched (externally/scripted?), and if manually then make visual cks optional &c?
• allow collaboration BOTH by 1) multiple ppl in the same repo, and 2) the interchange between repos (link/copy/subsc). 2 see which one best, for dift situations
• sharing to be also between private instance & public ones or among multiple public ones, so one can make data avail there n vice-versa depending on topics
• allow facilities for cloud-based private storage
