for Windows: installation steps

• (These Windows installation instructions worked on multiple systems but might not be ideal. Please report problems or suggest improvements.)
• Start and customize a command window. OM will be easier to use if you change the settings for the command window. In some versions, you can do it this way:
• Postgresql 9.5 wouldn't install for me on XP but 9.1 did. Postgresql 9.5 works on newer versions of windows.
• Click here for http://www.postgresql.org/download/windows/ , click the Download link, then download the version for your system (tested here with postgres9.1).
• With the postgresql installer:
• Install java and make sure it is in the path
• Hopefully at this point you are logged in to Windows w/ a username which has no spaces. Substitute that for "<username>" in the coming steps where mentioned.
• ...and remove the <> characters when filling in <username>. :)
• Edit the file c:\program files\postgresql\9.5\data\pg_hba.conf (or the equivalent on your system).
• Create the databases and user accounts:
• cd to the directory where the downloaded onemodel*.jar file was saved, something like "cd \docume~1\<username>\mydocu~1\downlo~1" .
• dir
• Modify this command to match your jar version number, and run the command: java -jar onemodel-0.0.7-free.jar
• That should show the OM license, and after you read & accept it with Enter, will show short messages to keep in mind as you're starting OM for the first time.
